Welcome to SVS Training

We have been providing highly specialist training and supervision in Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) since 2017. We have helped 35 departments set up a FEES service from scratch and trained over 1,000 therapists across the UK and beyond.

Whether you are just starting your FEES competency development or are an experienced FEES practitioner we offer training and supervision to enhance your clinical practice at all levels.

An update on us...​

We are building on this legacy and continuing business as usual.

Over recent months we have been exploring a planned transition of our clinical education business, with the intention of introducing a new team as we stepped back. After careful consideration, we have decided to pause this transition for now. It’s important to us that any future handover is supported by the right processes and the high standards that have shaped our work to date.

Our long‑standing administrator, Jackie, has also chosen this moment to retire, and we are deeply grateful for her contribution over the years. As we move into this next phase, we are streamlining our booking processes using technology already familiar to many NHS staff. This will ensure an efficient and simple booking experience, while we continue to offer the personal support you expect from us if you wish to get in touch.

In the coming months, we will be expanding our programme  — from our trusted foundation content to more advanced training for experienced clinicians and a supervisor hub.

We still anticipate stepping back in the future and have great respect for the team who will eventually take the reins. When the time is right, we will ensure that transition is smooth, well‑prepared, and aligned with the values that matter to us and to you.
