We feel this is an invaluable course for therapists offering work placed based supervision of their colleagues in FEES competency development. This  three hour online course is aimed at highly skilled FEES practitioners who are new to, or need to refresh their skills in, supervision of FEES. It will provide you with a robust learning framework with which to structure sessions. You will also have an assessment format to enable you to provide detailed and constructive feedback.

One of the biggest stumbling blocks for therapists after attending a FEES training course is building sufficient supervised practice of FEES with patients. RCSLT competencies require you to be supervised with a minimum of 10 FEES carried out on patients. This number can be daunting particularly if you work within a department which has no FEES practitioner. We can work with you to arrange supervised FEES practice within your own department.

Prior to supervision it is expected that you will have attended a FEES training course and have your nasendoscopy competencies signed off.
