​One of the biggest stumbling blocks for therapists after attending a FEES training course is building sufficient supervised practice of FEES with patients. Whilst nasendoscopy skills can be supervised by an ENT doctor or intensivist; RCSLT guidelines require that you are supervised by a level 3 SLT FEES practitioner for a minimum of 10 FEES carried out on patients. This number can be daunting particularly if you work within a department with limited access to  a Level 3 practitioner.  We can work with you to arrange supervised FEES practice either within your own department or remotely.
