This is a starting point for dysphagia skilled therapists considering embarking upon FEES training. It is also helpful for therapists who wish to have the knowledge to refer appropriately for FEES assessment and meet your FEES referrer competencies as defined in the RCSLT FEES Position Paper.  During this one day course you will develop an understanding of the FEES procedure and how it fits within a comprehensive dysphagia assessment. Video clips and a live FEES demonstration will enable you to orientate to the swallow as viewed endoscopically. Our aim is to provide the  theoretical foundations upon which you can build your FEES competencies.
